The Hanna loudspeaker has been designed as a suitable speaker to pair with the NX-2 tube amplifier. It is also a very suitable option for any low powered single ended amp.
The Hanna speaker uses Lii Flagship Crystal Full range drivers. This new premium Crystal-6 is a 6.5 inch metal cone driver. It has all the advantages of metal cone while having the innovative design cancelling the shout which is the shortcoming for almost all metal cones, leading to an exquisite, refined and balanced sound given by such a small-sized driver. It is well balanced and offers good outcome in both bass, mid and high end.
The advantage of using full range loudspeakers such as the Hana in your system is that they offer a level of sound quality that most other loudspeaker systems cannot, especially when compared to two-way loudspeakers. These often have separate drivers to separately reproduce high and low frequencies. But doing so creates a "kink" in the frequency curve, which can lead to distortion. With full-range speakers, on the other hand, a true full-range sound is achieved, creating a clean and homogeneous sound coverage, much more accurate to the recorded audio.
What is also very special about the Hanna speaker is the unique approach to the material used in the construction of the enclosure. LG HI-MACS® is a delicate composition of common natural minerals (aluminium hydroxide - obtained from aluminium ore) acrylic and natural pigments that combine to create a smooth, non porous, very dense, rigid and visually seamless surface. The rigidity of this design along with the Iso-Acoustic GAIA III acoustic isolation feet ensures higher efficiency and lower distortion.
These speakers will be made in-house and will be CNC milled and assembled to order and are available in 24 colours displayed. As they are made to order, there is always some amount of customisation available on request too.
